Treatment of burn scars

After the burn wound is healed, the elastic healing fabric is used to continuously compress the burn healing site to prevent and alleviate scar hyperplasia.

1, mechanism of action: (1) tissue ischemia, spiral collagen rearrangement, tissue Pco2 increased Po2 decreased, capillary reduction, lumen narrowing, endothelial cell degeneration, nuclear fragmentation, etc., scar hyperplasia blocked. (2) hypoxia, mitochondrial swelling, vacuolization, fibroblast proliferation is blocked, collagen production is reduced. (3) ischemia, aM paresis, occurs conducive collagenase, collagen fiber damage. (4) Ischemia, the synthesis of mucopolysaccharide enzymes decreased, mucopolysaccharide synthesis, deposition decreased, collagen production decreased, scars reduced.

2, method:

(1) Elastic bandage: pressure 10~15mmHg, banding from the distal end of the limb.

(2) Elastic sleeve: 10~18mmHg, the application needs to be “one morning, two tight and three lasting”.

(3) Stretch pants: Choose according to the size of the body.

3. Deactivation time:

After the discontinuation, the scar is no longer congested, the color is similar to normal skin, flat, soft and elastic, and the symptoms of itching disappear.

  Precautions:

(1) Long-lasting wear.

(2) Replace, clean, and restore elasticity at 12~24 hours.

(3) Suspend treatment when rupture, or treat after dressing.

(4) Put 1~2 layers of soft cloth or gauze on the inner layer before pressing to avoid scratching and lowering the soft cushion after pressing.

(5) Pediatric application pressure should be moderate, do not affect bone development.
